Dr. A. Devendran is a distinguished academic and thought leader in the field of Business Analytics and Information Technology Management, with over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and corporate training. He currently serves as the Program Director and Professor of Business Analytics at Woxsen University, Hyderabad, where he leads curriculum innovation, interdisciplinary research, and industry collaboration in data-driven business education.
Dr. Devendran holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and has an academic background spanning Computer Science, Management Studies, and Business Analytics. His expertise includes predictive analytics, machine learning, AI for business, data visualization, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI and SQL. He has authored 5 books and published more than 35 journal articles, along with 20+ international conference papers.
Throughout his career, he has played pivotal roles in faculty development, curriculum design, accreditation (NAAC, NBA, NIRF), and digital learning strategies. He has supervised numerous doctoral and M.Phil. scholars and remains active as an editorial board member and reviewer for over 20 international journals. He is a certified Data Science professional with credentials from Virginia Tech, Google, and Coursera.
