Dr. Faisal Anwer is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Security and a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
Before joining AMU, Dr. Anwer worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Noida, where he gained extensive experience in software development. He has also served as a Software Developer with CSC, UK, contributing to projects based in Perth, Scotland. Additionally, he has worked as a Guest Faculty at Jamia Millia Islamia, where he shared his expertise in computer science education.
Dr. Anwer's research areas and special interests include Cryptography, IoT and Cloud Security, Program Robustness, and Software Testing. He has published numerous research papers in SCIE/Scopus-indexed journals and international conferences, establishing his prominence in the field.
Notably, Dr. Faisal Anwer has also developed an online course on "Data Science using Python" for the SWAYAM platform, which has been joined by almost 17,000 learners. This achievement showcases his dedication to advancing education through innovative and accessible learning solutions.
