About
I am a master's student in Applied Mathematics at the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology in Swabi, Pakistan. While deep learning (DL) is transforming numerous fields, its high computational demands limit its applicability in resource-constrained environments. To address this challenge, my master's thesis focuses on optimizing convolutional neural networks (CNNs) by strategically eliminating insignificant parameters, thereby reducing computational complexity while preserving performance comparable to the original dense network. Moreover, I am working on a short research project in evolutionary graph theory under the supervision of Wajid Ali, a post-doctoral scholar at the University of Liverpool.
