Dr. Vikas Kumar is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Haryana, India since August 2013. He has the Degree of Master of Engineering in Production Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh. He has done his Doctorate in the area of Rotary Ultrasonic Machining from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. He has about 12 years of teaching experience. His areas of interest include Ultrasonic Machining, Non-conventional Machining, Friction Stir Processing, Composite fabrication, Material Characterization and Experimental Designs. He has published more than 20 research papers in various journals of repute and conference proceedings.
