About

Dr. Rajpreet Kaur is a distinguished academician and researcher currently serving as Assistant Professor of Management Studies at I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala, Punjab, with over 17 years of extensive teaching and research experience. Her areas of expertise include Stress Management, Work–Family Balance, Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior, and Sustainable Management Research. She has an impressive academic record comprising 36 research publications, 29 book chapters, and 10 authored books, including three international books. Her work has been published by globally reputed publishers such as Elsevier, Emerald, Springer, Taylor & Francis, Sage, and Inderscience, with several papers indexed in ABDC, Scopus, and Web of Science.

She has presented research at 49 national and international conferences, participated in 42 faculty development programs, delivered 9 invited talks, and has been featured as a speaker on AIR India Radio, Jalandhar.

As a dedicated research supervisor, she has successfully guided four Ph.D. scholars (awarded), is currently supervising doctoral candidates, and has mentored 57 postgraduate and undergraduate research projects.

Dr. Kaur has contributed significantly to curriculum development by authoring course content for IKG-PTU’s Distance Education Programme in subjects such as Training & Development, Organization Development, Knowledge Management, and Business Ethics & CSR, and has reviewed academic modules in Lean Manufacturing, Technology Management, and Industrial Relations & Labour Laws.
She serves as an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Human Resource and Leadership (IPRJB), Journal of Social Welfare and Management (JSWM), Journal of Social Responsibility, Tourism and Hospitality (JSRTH), and Edwin Group of Journals, and acts as a reviewer for reputed journals including Management Research Review (Emerald), The Bottom Line (Sage), Policing and Society, Cogent Business & Management, and Educational Gerontology.

Her professional affiliations include Life Membership of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) and Chapter Membership of the International Accreditation Organization (IAO). She has served as a Program Advisory Committee Member for ICDABM 2022 at the University of Delhi, Session Chair at international conferences, Primary Evaluator for Toycathon 2021 organized by the Ministry of Education, and Coordinator and Member of various Boards of Studies.

Her academic excellence has been recognized through several prestigious honors including the Best Teacher Award (Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE, 2023)), 2 times won Best Paper Awards (2025 and 2026) at national conferences, and Awarded by Baba Farid Memorial Education & Welfare Society (2020) on International Women Day. She also brings international academic exposure through research visits to the University of Toronto and the University of Calgary.
