WORK EXPERIENCE

Aug 2017 – Current: Scientist, GMP Lab In-charge
Asian Healthcare Foundation, AIG Hospitals, Hyderabad

• Established cGMP lab (Class 10,000) for Stem cell processing from Cord Blood, Cord Blood tissue and Bone marrow according to the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) and ICMR DBT guidelines.
• GMP Regulatory applications, QA and QC
• Applied GMP labs manufacturing license for Bone marrow and Umbilical Cord derived Mesenchymal stem cells separately for Test and analysis purpose Form CT-10 and received Form CT-11 (CDSCO) and Form 29 (State FDA).
• Preclinical Toxicology studies for BMSCs and UCMSCs for CDSCO approvals to conduct clinical trials.
• Covid research: Booster dose efficacy, Immune response with Covid infection and vaccination.
• Circulating tumor cell identification in Pancreatic Ductal adeno carcinoma (PDAC) patients using magnetic enrichment and Flow Cytometry, circulating tumor DNA isolation. (Study Title: Diagnostic and prognostic value of Circulating Tumor Cells & circulating tumor DNA from portal vein using EUS in Pancreatic Cancer patients).
• Evaluation of circulatory tumor cells and ctDNA significance in Hepato Cellular Carcinoma patients undergoing immunotherapy.
• Flow cytometry applications in immunological and cellular functional studies in various institutional projects.
• Collaborate with clinicians to develop Translational Medicine, Regenerative medicine and cellular therapy applications for various clinical conditions and supporting products.

• Autologous natural T regulatory (nTreg) cell therapy for tolerance induction in islet transplantation and solid organ transplantation.
• Cord Blood banking, Bone marrow processing, CD34 isolation by clinimacs
• Flow cytometry using 13 color fluorochrome.
• Immune monitoring for clinical trials.
• Standardized various flow cytometry staining fluorochrome panels for Tregulatory and T follicular cells to study the phenotype, maturation and functional characterization.
• Bone marrow processing and isolation of stem cells manual method and by CD34 Clinimacs method.
