About
He is an accomplished academician currently serving as a Professor at the Chitkara University Punjab, INDIA. With over 15 years of teaching experience in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, he has demonstrated a consistent passion for teaching, mentoring, and academic excellence.
He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from IKG Punjab Technical University, Punjab. He has also completed an M.Tech from Chaudhary Devi Lal University, Sirsa, a B.Tech from HCTM Technical Campus, Kaithal, Haryana, and an MBA from Guru Jambheshwar University (GJU), Hisar. This strong academic foundation has equipped him with deep interdisciplinary expertise.
His leadership and involvement in academic governance are evident from his role as a member of the Board of Studies (BoS) in several universities. He also serves as a Ph.D. supervisor and external evaluator for doctoral candidates, contributing significantly to research supervision and quality assurance in higher education.
He has made impactful research contributions with four books published by international publishers and three book chapters indexed in Elsevier/Scopus. He has authored over 15 research papers in reputed international journals and holds two Australian patents, reflecting his innovative and research-driven mindset.
He has actively participated in more than ten Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and has mentored numerous students in national innovation contests. As a mentor and coordinator for the Smart India Hackathon (SIH), he has guided teams to national success. He received the Inspiration Award from the Welingkar Institute, Mumbai, for securing the second position in SIH 2019 and led his team to a first-place victory at SIH 2022, held at the prestigious Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi.
Additionally, he has served as a reviewer for books published by Springer Nature and Scopus and has chaired sessions at multiple international conferences, further showcasing his academic leadership and contribution to scholarly discourse.
