About
Dr. Atul K. Singh is a motivated and passionate scientist working in the core and interdisciplinary area of NextGen Sequencing. As a NextGen Sequencing Scientist, I excel on assay development and method validation on different sequencing platforms. My hard skill includes molecular biology, microbiology, applied microbiology, antimicrobial susceptibility assay, method development and validation, method transfer and application of automated workflows under QMS with GLP and GDP. Led preparation of standards for proficiency qualification (PQ) for WGS product using GMP. Worked for 2 years as a Clinical Laboratory Associate in CLIA laboratory. My soft skills include scientific communication, data analysis and documenting SOP, risk-assessment and performing run-level metric analysis. My expertise includes development of next generation sequencing based molecular method for Preimplantation Genetic Disorder (PGD-Seq) test and pathogen characterization. Dr. Singh has published >30 peer-reviewed research articles in journals of international repute.
