Transgenic Caenorhabditis elegans strains were used to study the effect of natural products on the aging and stress resistance, insulin-like signalling pathway, heat shock proteins, and human beta-amyloid expression, associated with Alzheimer’s disease, were also investigated. Syrian Hamster was used for histological studies of male reproductive system and pineal gland after exposure to prenatal and postnatal photoperiods.
