About
A passionate researcher interested in advancing the field of photocatalytic chemistry. Research interests span heterogeneous catalysis, photocatalysis, and photoelectrocatalysis. The key focus is to uncover new optically active nanomaterials, optimize them, and develop a mechanistic understanding for applications in solar fuels, synthetic chemicals, and environmental sustainability. Expertise includes the synthesis of photoactive nanomaterials, characterization, band gap modulation, electrochemical studies of interfacially modified photocatalysts, and investigations to improve efficiency in water splitting, CO2 reduction and nitrogen fixation, and wastewater treatment. Committed to the production of next-generation synthetic fuels and chemicals.
