About
I am an SRF and Research Scholar in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi. My research focuses on medicinal chemistry and computer aided drug design, with emphasis on developing new therapeutic agents for metabolic and central nervous system disorders.
My work integrates molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations, enzyme inhibition kinetics and in vitro and in vivo experimental evaluation. I am particularly interested in structure based drug design, structure activity relationship interpretation and mechanistic investigation of bioactive heterocycles.
I am currently funded under the ANRF CRG scheme and have contributed to research dissemination through peer reviewed publications and academic participation.
My long term goal is to develop effective and affordable drug candidates that can improve therapeutic outcomes.
