My passion is to empower small-scale producers through research and market innovations contributing to sustainable food and environmental systems. I have a track record of progressively leading outcome-focused and impact-oriented national, regional, and global food and nutritional security programs by nurturing partnerships and shared values (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) in multicultural and multidisciplinary teams in Africa and Asia. These two decades of experiences as both a research scientist and a manager have equipped me with an array of interpersonal, facilitation, and leadership skills. Such diverse backgrounds and contrasting exposures have led me to become an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and open-minded member of any team willing to adapt and grow continuously.
