About
Ankit Kumar is currently working as Senior Research Fellow in the Research and Development Centre, Faculty of Biomedical Sciences, Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Dehradun, India. Prior to join this position, he worked as Assistant Scientist in Patanjali Research Institute, Patanjali Yogpeeth, Haridwar, India and as an Assistant Professor in IEC School of Pharmacy, IEC University, Baddi, Solan, India. He did his Graduation in 2014 in Pharmaceutical Sciences. In 2016, he received his Master Degree (M.Pharmacy) in Pharmacognosy. He is pursuing his PhD from Uttarakhand Ayurved University, Dehradun, India on "Antidiabetic medicinal plants (with SGLT2 inhibitory potential) of Uttarakhand Himalaya". His research was based on the investigation of natural product and therapeutic potential of medicinal plant. He published his quality research in various journals of international repute and also presented his work in many national and international conferences. He Received GPAT scholarships during his master degree from All India Council for Technical Education and University Merit awards. His current research interests are Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, Natural Products, Ayurvedic and Herbal medicine.
