Sonia Sharma

About

I did my Ph.D. on chitinases and chitin extraction relevant enzymes and have worked on two special bacterial species; Myxobacteria sp. and Chitinophaga sp. My specialization is in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Mammalian Cell Culture. I am interested to explore microbial diversity for very potent biomolecules in drug discovery as there is a lot in these biofactories that can serve the global cause of finding leads that are effective in AMR and cancer.
