Dr. Harveer Singh Pali is working as an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Department at National Institute of Technology, Srinagar. NIT Srinagar is premier institute of National importance under aegis Ministry of Education, Government of India. Dr. Pali has a sustained track record of quality and interesting teaching experience of 15 years. He always enjoyed teaching Engineering Thermodynamics, Applied Thermodynamics, RAC, Thermal Energy Systems and Renewable Energy. Dr. Pali has excellent research contribution in terms of research publication in journal of repute (SCI, SCOPUS etc.). He has published more than 30 papers international journals of repute and more than 20 in proceedings of International conferences. He also published 2 patents 04 book chapters. He has guided 06 M. Tech thesis and 20+ B. Tech Projects. He presently guiding 06 Ph.D. students.
His area of research includes the development of Solar dryer, Bio-CNG, biodiesel/biofules from non-edible oil and waste biomass and its utilization in terms of performance, and emission and combustion of the I C engines. Recently he has completed an NPIU-TEQIP sponsored project as a Principle Investigator. Dr. Pali has proven administrative skill by accepting challenging assignments like Nodal officer institute rankings like NIRF, NBA and hostel warden and executed remarkable work in the field of outcome-based education and upliftment of teaching-learning process.
He is SAEINDIA faculty advisor for NIT Srinagar and coordinator. He is the life member of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), ISTE, IEEE and founder member of Society for Fusion of Science and Technology (SFST). He established Renewable Energy and Alternative Fuel (REAF) lab for cutting-edge research in renewable energy and automobile sector. He also started a Center for Technology Intervention for Elderly and Disabled (CTIED) for research and better assistance to society at large.
