About

Dr. M. Sundararajan is an awardee of The Best Citizen of India Gold Medal, Bharatiya Udhyog Ratna Gold Medal, Bharat Ratna Dr, A.J.P. Abdul Kalam Gold Medal Award and Eminent Scientist and Professor of Global Excellence Award. He obtained his M.Sc in Mathematics from Bharathidasan University in 1998 and M.Phil in Mathematics from Annamalai University, Tamilnadu in 1990. He was awarded Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology (ISM), Dhanbad, Jharkhand in 2006. Further, he was honoured with Honourary Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) from Ashcroft University, London during 2018 against his outstanding achievements in education and research. He joined in the Department of Natural Resource & Environment Management of CSIR- Central Institute of Mining & Fuel Research (CSIR-CIMFR), Dhanbad-826001 as a Scientist in March 1992 and left while working as a Sr. Principal Scientist CSIR-CIMFR & Professor of Engineering Mathematics in CIMFR - Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (CSIR-AcSIR)the area of Environmental Modelling. Presently he is working as a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. He has expertise in R&D for the last 31 years. He has published more than 150 Research Articles in proceedings of National and International Conferences a nd various National and International Journals. He has contributed chapters for more than fifteen books. He has delived more than 30 invited lectures. He has guided many Ph.D and M.Tech scholars as a Guide and Supervisors in multi-disciplinary subjects.
