Dr. Pooja Palwankar completed a bachelor's and Master`s degree in the subject of Periodontology from Government Dental College and Hospital Mumbai, India in the year 1992 and a Ph.D. (Periodontology) in the year 2023. Is a chairperson of the Board of Studies, Department of Periodontology, Board of Faculty, and member secretary Institutional ethics committee. Has research interest in gingival crevicular and salivary biomarkers, Lasers, Implants, regenerative and resective surgeries, and periodontal plastic and esthetic surgeries,
