About
Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh Singholi works as a Professor and In-Charge at the University School of Automation and Robotics and as Director of the Indraprastha Incubation Foundation at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. He earlier worked as Professor and Head of the Mechanical and Automation Engineering Department of Gobind Ballabh Pant Govt. Engineering College (Govt. of NCT of Delhi), Delhi, India. He has also been an adjunct professor at the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok (Thailand). Prof. Singholi has more than 20 years of experience in higher technical education, teaching, and research at the UG and PG levels at Government Universities in Delhi, India.
His research area includes Advanced Manufacturing, Additive Manufacturing, 4D Manufacturing, Industry 4.0, Cyber-Physical Systems, and IoT applications in Manufacturing, Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, and Mechanical Engineering. He has over 50 publications in prestigious international journals and 25 (Twenty-five) national and international patents and Government Consultancy Grants of worth 50 Million INR to his credit. He is a well-known keynote speaker and expert advisor on various international conferences and faculty development programs across India. Professor Singholi is also the recipient of various prestigious national and international awards. His notable awards include the “Outstanding Professor” award presented during the World Education Congress in 2020, the “Best Professor in Mechanical Engineering” award presented during the 27th Dewang Mehta National Education Awards in 2019, and the “Teaching Excellence Award” by the Hon’ble Governor of Haryana State during the Indo-Global Education and Skills Summit in 2017. He is also an active author, reviewer, and on the advisory boards of various academic organizations.
