About
I am presently working as a Assistant Professor in Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. Previously I worked in ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, Hyderabad, India from 2016 to 2018. I received my Bachelor (BSc) and Master (MSc) degrees in Chemistry from the University of Calcutta in 2004 and 2006, respectively with specialization in Inorganic Chemistry. Then I joined Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science in Kolkata in 2007 for doctoral research under the kind supervision of Professor Asim Bhaumik. I got PhD degree in 2012 from Jadavpur University with several publications on catalysis over nanoporous materials. During 2012–2016, I worked as Dr D. S. Kothari postdoctoral fellow in Jadavpur University, India and as a postdoctoral fellow in Sungkyunkwan University, South Korea and Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Kolkata. My research activities is mainly focused on nanoporous materials, nanoparticles and their applications in catalysis, biosensing and adsorption, etc.
