About
Manisha received her Master's degree in 2013 and subsequently doctorate degree in April 2019 from Panjab University, India. Later joined IRFU CEA-Saclay, France as a foreign researcher in 2019 while working for ATLAS Muon Spectrometer Upgrade project. Currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at TIFR, India. My thrust area of research is detectors, concerned instrumentation and cosmic ray physics i.e. mainly composition etc. Actively participated in the development of glass Resistive Plate Chambers (RPCs) used for diverse applications in various high energy physics experiments. Also worked on gas electron multiplier (GEM) detectors which are installed in CMS detector endcaps during Phase-2 upgrade (2019-20). While at Saclay, significantly worked on Micromegas detectors production for ATLAS Muon Upgrade project; which are installed in ATLAS detector endcaps during 2021. Nowadays working on Cosmic Ray Mass composition studies to check detector sensitivity (of IceCube-Gen2, next generation of IceCube; located at South Pole). Worked for IceCube-Gen2 Technical Design Report (TDR).
