About

Dr. Biswajit Pal has 8 years of experience in the field of Agriculture, Rural Development, NGO Management and Public Health. He is presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Rural Studies under West Bengal State University. Previously, he had associated with MANT an organization of repute as Assistant Director-Research and M & E and was responsible for all works related to Livelihood promotion, Public health and social science researches conducted by the organization including research planning, research proposal development, data analysis, report writing and publication of the same. He has completed his post graduation (M.Sc.) in Agriculture and Rural Development from West Bengal State University and in the year 2016, he has been awarded Ph.D from the same esteemed institution and in the same discipline based on the research entitled “Studies on Socio-economic aspects of some Tribe in West Bengal". Till date, he has been associated with 15 numbers of research articles publications in peer reviewed journals and 7 conference papers. Besides his research publications, he was directly involved to publish two state level research reports and one edited book.
