About
Dr. Pramod Kumar Gautam is an Additional Professor in the Department of Biochemistry at AIIMS, New Delhi. He holds a Ph.D. in Immunology from Banaras Hindu University and leads the Immunology Laboratory at AIIMS. A trained immunologist, Dr. Gautam’s research focuses on immune cell-tumor interactions, cancer immunotherapy, and drug design, with a particular interest in early cancer detection and targeted drug delivery.
He has received several prestigious awards, such as infosys best paper award, DST Inspire Faculty Fellowship, and has presented his research at numerous national and international platforms. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as the Nodal Officer for the Department of Biochemistry, AIIMS.
In addition to his research, Dr. Gautam is actively involved in UG and PG teaching and academic administration. He holds key roles, such as PhD course work in-charge, and has been a part of important committees at AIIMS.
He is a life member of several reputed societies, including the Indian Immunology Society, CIMT (Germany), and IACR, and serves on editorial boards and review panels for international journals.
