About
Dr. Rathour is working as city team leader in municipal corporation Faridabad, Haryana on "Implementation of various components of Swachh Bharat Mission Urban at district lever Urban Local Bodies" with the specific focus on the Liquid, and Solid waste management. He also worked as a Scientific officer at Zelence industries private limited, India for one year on a "Assessment and remediation of ammonia and micro-pollutant using carbon-based nano-composites". Dr. Rathour has completed his Ph.D. and M. Tech in Environmental Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India, and the National Institute of Technology Durgapur, India, in 2019 and 2014, respectively. He has a B.Tech degree in Biotechnology from the Gautam Buddh Technical University (GBTU), Lucknow. His broad area of research on advanced materials and process development for environmental remediation application. He has excellent skills in advanced materials synthesis, characterization, and modification, and wastewater treatment. His future goal is to further explore and gain insights into the novel materials and processes, advanced water treatment technologies (membrane technology, photocatalysis), and environmental biotechnology to address the current challenges in water-energy-nexus, and public health protection.
