Dr. Nirvair Singh is born in Village Harie Wala of District Moga (Punjab). He got his Graduation in 1998 and Post-Graduation in 2001from Government Berjindra College, Faridkot. Then, he has done M. Phil. in Economics from Department of Economics, Punjabi University Patiala in 2004. He has taught as Assistant Professor in Economics in several colleges like Government Ripudaman College Nabha, Punjabi University Guru Kashi College Damdama Sahib, Sant Baba Atar Singh Khalsa College Sandaur, S.G.T.B. Khalsa College, Anandpur Sahib in Punjab state of India. He also served as Field Investigator in two projects in 2004 and 2007 in the Institution named as Centre for Research in Rural and Industrial Development (CRRID), Sector-19-A, Madhiya Marg, Chandigarh. He got his Ph.D. in Economics from Department of Economics, Punjabi University Patiala in 2016. He also qualified UGC-NET in July, 2018. He has published scholarly research papers in various national and international journals, contributed chapters in the books. Moreover, Dr. Singh has also participated in several national and international conferences and seminars. He is also a lifetime member of Indian Society of Labour Economics, Indian Economic Association and Punjabi University Alumni Association, Patiala.
