Dr. Pankaj S. Musale, M.D. (Ayu.), Ph.D.

Dr. Pankaj S. Musale is a distinguished Ayurvedic physician, academician, researcher, and administrator with over 15 years of experience in Ayurvedic education, clinical practice, research, and healthcare leadership. He is currently serving as the Principal and Medical Director of S. S. Agrawal Institute of Ayurveda and S. S. Agrawal Ayurvedic Hospital, Navsari, Gujarat.

Dr. Pankaj completed his B.A.M.S. from Ayurved Seva Sangh's Ayurved College, Nashik, Maharashtra, in 2007, followed by M.D. (Ayurved) in Rachana Sharir from P.D.E.A.'s College of Ayurved and Research Centre, Nigdi, Pune, Maharashtra, in 2011. He subsequently earned his Ph.D. in Rachana Sharir (Anatomy) from Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education & Research (DMIHER), Wardha, Maharashtra.

He established Aarogyam Ayurved and Panchakarma Clinic in Nashik, Maharashtra, and successfully practiced there from 2011 to 2018, providing comprehensive Ayurvedic healthcare and Panchakarma therapies. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Pankaj rendered dedicated clinical services and successfully treated numerous patients through evidence-based Ayurvedic interventions.

Before assuming his current leadership role, Dr. Pankaj served as Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Rachana Sharir and also worked as a consultant at Shree Prabhav Hem Kamdhenu Girivihar Trust's Shree RMD Ayurved Cancer Research Centre, contributing significantly to academics, clinical services, and research.

A passionate educator and researcher, Dr. Pankaj is the recipient of the International Best Researcher Award (2022). He has authored two textbooks for the BAMS curriculum, which are widely used by undergraduate Ayurveda students. He also serves as the Chief Editor of AmrutKalash, a peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to promoting quality research in Ayurveda and allied health sciences.

Dr. Pankaj has published numerous research papers in national and international indexed journals, including journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. He has presented research papers at several national and international conferences and has participated in more than 40 national and international seminars, conferences, workshops, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes.

An accomplished academic leader, Dr. Pankaj has organized various workshops, faculty development programmes, CMEs, and scientific conferences in the fields of anatomy, Ayurveda, research methodology, quality assurance, and healthcare management. He has been invited as a resource person, keynote speaker, and expert faculty at numerous academic institutions and professional organizations across India, delivering lectures on anatomy, Ayurveda, medical education, research methodology, and lifestyle management.

As Principal and Medical Director, Dr. Pankaj is committed to strengthening Ayurvedic education, promoting evidence-based research, enhancing quality healthcare services, and advancing institutional excellence through innovation, academic leadership, and patient-centered care.
