Dr. Yogesh Bharat Dalvi is an experienced research scientist with over 10 years of experience in both basic and translational research, with a particular focus on regenerative medicine. He has a proven track record of working in both academic and healthcare settings and is highly skilled in tissue engineering, biotechnology, and molecular biology.
Dr. Dalvi has expertise in standardizing various in vitro and in vivo models according to OECD and ISO guidelines, maintaining cell lines and related assays, performing rodent surgery, and having knowledge in small animal suturing, blood collection, drug administration, and tumor allograft models. He has also demonstrated an ability to isolate bioactive secondary metabolites of phytoceuticals (plants, mushrooms, and algae) and evaluate their biological activities under in vitro and in vivo conditions.
His research interests include toxicological evaluation, adjuvants in drug-induced anomalies, anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer, antidiabetic, and biocompatibility of natural and synthetic membranes in various animal models. He also has standardized in vitro and in vivo models for assessments of guided bone/cartilage regeneration and guided tissue regeneration in rat models, as well as evaluations of neurotransmitters in cartilage regeneration and against arthritis in murine models.
Dr. Dalvi's high-impact publication track record in prestigious journals, with a 15 h-index, reflects his significant contributions to regenerative medicine. He also holds a couple of patents in a tissue engineering scaffold with regenerative potential.
