About

I am an academician and researcher with over 10 years of combined teaching and research experience, including 4 years of experience post-Ph.D., in higher education institutions (HEIs), both in national and internationally affiliated universities. I am currently serving as an Academic Staff in the Department of Electronics and Communication at Malla Reddy (MR) (Deemed to be University), Hyderabad, India. Previously, I worked as a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and served as the Research Coordinator and Quality Coordinator for the Centre for Research and Consultancy (CRC) at Middle East College (MEC), Muscat, Oman (affiliated with Coventry University, United Kingdom). I have completed my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia (Viva Voce: 4 January 2022; Degree awarded: 2023). I obtained my Master’s in Embedded Systems (M. Tech, 2012) and my Bachelor’s in Electronics and Communication Engineering (B. Tech, 2008) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH). Additionally, I earned a Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) in International Higher Education Practice (IHEP, 2017) from Coventry University, UK. I am a Senior Member of IEEE and an active member of several other professional bodies. I have completed numerous academic certifications and training programs from reputed global institutions. My research output includes peer-reviewed journal articles and international conference publications, as well as patents, a registered copyright, authored and edited books, and contributions to book chapters. I have successfully secured research funding from The Research Council (TRC), Oman, and internal grants from Middle East College (MEC), Muscat, Oman. I was awarded a scholarship by Middle East College, Oman, for the Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) programme, which was delivered at MEC in collaboration with Coventry University, United Kingdom. The qualification was awarded by Coventry University. I was also awarded a scholarship for my PhD studies at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru, Malaysia. My supervisory experience includes final-year undergraduate projects in Electronics and Communication Engineering, as well as the co-supervision of PhD candidates. Alongside my academic roles, I have contributed to institutional planning, accreditation activities, curriculum design, and academic development through leadership and administrative responsibilities. My research interests focus on wireless communications, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), and pedagogical practices in higher education.
