SECONDMENT TO ASIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (AIT), BANGKOK (THAILAND)
Dr Singh joined as Visiting Professor in the Department of Industrial Systems Engineering (ISE), School of Engineering & Technology, at Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok (Thailand) from August 2018 to December 2018. During the stay at AIT, I have taught the subject entitled Advanced Material Science for Design & Manufacturing (AT 73:9008), to Masters’ Students of Nanotechnology. The objective of the subject is to provide the student with the required know how to select the best materials for product development, emphasizing the function of materials and processes in product design.
He guided the students in Minor project on ʺComposite Materials: Processing Machining & Testing ʺ and ʺShape Memory Alloys -Manufacturing, Machining and Testing ʺ.
The undersigned also delivered Special lectures on the following titles:
— Advanced Materials in Automotive Industries
—Shape Memory Alloys: Smart Materials
