About
Ajay Kumar Ghosh is a professor in Physics in Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. His area of research is experimental and numerical vortex physics, superconductivity and low temperature physics since 1994. Prof. Ghosh worked in four countries - Japan, Sweden, Germany and USA including University of Tokyo, University of Illinois at UC, Umea University, Royal Institute of Technology in different postdoctoral and visiting positions. He published research works in Phys. Rev. Letters, Phys. Rev. B, Physica B and C, Applied Physics Letters, Superconductors Science and tech and many other international journals. Prof. Ghosh leads a research group on superconductivity in India. He teaches quantum mechanics and condensed matter physics for last two decades.
