About
I am an experimental nuclear physicist specializing in low-energy (3-7 MeV/nucleon) heavy-ion interactions. My primary research investigates the dynamics of Complete and Incomplete (Break-up) Fusion, systematically studying their dependency on Entrance Channel Parameters.
My current work expands into Transfer Reaction studies, where I am developing a novel experimental setup to measure their Angular Distributions in the Lab Frame. This involves designing and constructing detector systems (including Silicon Detector development) and associated electronics to precisely characterize reaction products. I also perform Isomeric Ratio Estimation to probe nuclear structure effects in reaction outcomes.
My experimental toolkit includes the Stacked Foil Activation Technique coupled with high-resolution Gamma-Ray Spectroscopy and Particle-Gamma Coincidence methods. This work is supported by hands-on expertise in Thin Film Nuclear Target Fabrication. I am also engaged in exploring advanced acceleration sources, from conventional Proton and Electron Accelerators to next-generation Laser-Plasma Acceleration.
