About
I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in Mechanical Engineering at Cleveland State University and working in Advanced Manufacturing & Material Processing Laboratory (AM2P), and Additive Manufacturing Laboratory. My research focus is on Metal Additive Manufacturing, more specifically the material characterization and structure-property relationship of the AM parts. I am currently working on Binder Jet and SLM to study the effect of printing and sintering parameters on the physical, structural and mechanical properties of the SS316L, SS420, and Tool Steel parts.
My experience also includes working with the design and analysis of new products, pressure vessels, rotating machinery, piping, HVAC, and various chemical equipment in the oil and Gas Industry.
Specialties:
- Design for additive manufacturing: Binder Jet, Direct Metal Laser Sintering, Fused Deposition Modeling, SLA, PolyJet
- Material characterization techniques, such as scanning electron microscopy and spectroscopy
- Design of experiments and data analysis of process and sintering parameters of AM parts
- Solid works, Finite Element Analysis, Ansys
- Materials properties testing: tensile, compression, hardness tests, and tribology.
