About

Completed Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in the year 2000 and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS-Orthodontics) in the year 2005 both from Ragas Dental College and Hospital, Chennai (The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University, Chennai). Worked as Faculty in Meenakshi Ammal Dental College & Hospital from 2006 to 2020 and at Madha Dental College & Hospital from 2020 to 2021.
Presently working as Professor at Department of Orthodontics, Saveetha Dental College & Hospital, Chennai, Tamilnadu, India.
Published 16 research articles in indexed National Journals including one International Specialty Journal with good impact factor (Present status: h-index of 4, i10-index of 3 with 76 citations since the year 2009)
Delivered Guest lectures on topics like “Canine impaction”, “Genetics-Orthodontic perspective” and “3D Diagnosis” at various CDE programmes and made several Paper presentations at National Conferences.
Served as “Editor” for the Official News letter “Voice of Meenakshi” of the University (MAHER) for the period 2008 to 2013. Attended various specialty Courses on topics such as TMJ Diagnosis, Lingual Orthodontics, Self-ligating brackets.
