MediDiamond Inc, LuminX Biotech Co., Ltd, National Taiwan University, Institute of Atomic and Molecular Sciences, Academia Sinica
About
Dr. Su serves as the CEO and Chairman of LuminX Biotech and MediDiamond Inc. He earned his PhD degree in Chemistry from NTU and pursued postdoctoral studies at Academia Sinica. His focus lies in the realm of nanomaterial and bio-application development. In 2020, he founded LuminX Biotech, introducing the LuminX Cell Tracking Enabling Platform (LCTEP) dedicated to pre-clinical and clinical assessment of cell therapies. This platform exhibits the capability to ensure the precise homing of therapeutic cells to targeted organs, ascertain acute and long-term viability, assess desired functionalities, and detect any unintended accumulations, thereby significantly enhancing the safety, efficacy, and potency of cellular drugs before progressing to human trials.
Dr. Su's role as a Co-founder of BioDiamond biotechnology Co., Ltd. showcases his entrepreneurial aptitude, with profits surpassing initial investments, marking a successful exit strategy. His experience as a serial entrepreneur emphasizes his capacity to translate academic research into practical industrial applications. While leading BioDiamond during his Ph.D., he achieved a remarkable 50% profit increase over invested capital, demonstrating his strategic prowess. He is the inventor of the LuminX Cell Tracking Enabling Platform, addressing needs in cell therapy, exosome therpay, regenerative medicine, cancer research, tumor metastasis, and immunotherapy. Dr. Su envisions advancing the global bio-industry through his approach of "applying what I've learned into practice," a philosophy that drives his accomplishments.
