About
Dr. Pravin Hivare is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Utah’s Department of Neurology, specializing in neurodegenerative diseases, including Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Spinocerebellar Ataxia. Employing advanced techniques such as molecular and cellular biology, RNA sequencing, super-resolution microscopy, and animal models, he investigates disease mechanisms to develop innovative therapeutic strategies. Dr. Hivare earned his PhD in Biological Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar, where he studied the endocytic uptake of DNA nanocages and pathogenic protein aggregates in neuronal cells.
With over 15 peer-reviewed publications, his research significantly contributes to neuroscience. Recognized with prestigious fellowships, Dr. Hivare also serves as a reviewer for numerous journals.
His interdisciplinary approach, blending neuroscience, biotechnology, and nanotechnology, positions him at the forefront of translational research for neurodegenerative disorders.
