About
Tanushree Dutta received the PhD degree from Penn State University, PA, USA in Environmental (Biogeochemistry) Soil Science. Her research delves into mechanistic understanding of fine-scale interfacial (example- pore-scale oxygen dynamics, nanoparticle-organic molecule interaction) processes using advanced analytical techniques and molecular tools. She has combined theory with experiments to develop analytical methods of detection of small molecules with m/z<500 using unique pore geometries and light absorption characteristics of nanomaterials and studied intra- and inter-molecular charge transfer interaction at nanomaterial-organic interfaces for targeted chemical delivery. She has organized academia-industry partnerships for market penetration and industrial upscaling of nanotechnology.
