About
Pisharody Harikrishnan Gopalakrishnan (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Calicut University, Kerala, India, in 2008, and the Master of Design (M.Des.) degree in Electronic Systems from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITD&M) Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, India, in 2012. He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad, Palakkad, India. He began his professional career with Cognizant Technology Solutions, Chennai, India, in June 2012, where he served as a Lead Engineer until September 2018. He is currently a Technical Superintendent with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad, Palakkad, India. His research interests include high-frame-rate diagnostic ultrasound imaging, transducer array design, acoustic lens design, wearable ultrasound imaging, and biomedical ultrasound systems.
