Deepa Iyer is an academician and researcher specializing in Accounting, Finance, Banking, and Financial Technology. She holds a Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com.), has qualified CMA Intermediate and CAIIB, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Finance. With over 14 years of combined industry and academic experience, she has developed expertise in teaching, research, curriculum development, and student mentoring.

Her teaching interests include Financial Management, Banking Operations, Investment Management, Financial Markets, Accounting, FinTech, and Research Methodology. She is committed to integrating theoretical concepts with practical applications through innovative pedagogical approaches, including co-teaching, case-based learning, and experiential education.

Her research focuses on behavioral finance, digital financial services, financial literacy, technology adoption in banking, mutual fund investment behaviour, sustainable finance, green finance, and financial inclusion. She is particularly interested in applying quantitative techniques and mathematical models to examine investor and consumer financial behaviour.

Deepa has presented research papers at national and international conferences and has received recognition for her research contributions, including a Best Paper Award at an international conference. She actively contributes to scholarly publications and is committed to advancing knowledge in finance through impactful, interdisciplinary research.
