Dr. SM. Sundarapandian published 102 research articles, 55 invited lectures and has made 110 presentations in both national and international conferences. h- index =28, i10-index=50 and 2949 citations. One paper has more than 395 citations. He received his PhD in Forest ecology from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, in 1998 and pursued a post-doctorate at the same University for two years. He worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Saraswathi Narayanan College from December 2000 to April 2009, and is an Assistant Professor at Pondicherry University from April 2009 to present. He has 25 years of teaching and 30 years of research experiences.
