About
Dr. Hrudananda Jena started his life from Malud , Puri district of Odisha state, India. He did his early schooling in Malud , he got National Rural Talent Scholarship (NRTS) which made him to join Biswambhar Bidya Pitha ,Puri. Subsequently did his college education (I.Sc and B.Sc (Chemistry Hons)) at Godavarish Mahavidyalaya in Banapur, under Utkal University, Odisha. After completing M.Sc in Chemistry from Utakl University (Vani vihar, Bhubaneswar), joined BARC Training School, Mumbai in the year 1990. Subsequently joined IGCAR as scientific officer (C), Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. He obtained his Ph.D in Materials Science from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He carried out his post-doctoral studies under US-DOE projects in Southern University, Lousiana, USA (2005-2006). Currently, he is working as Scientific Officer (H), Head of Materials Chemistry Division (MCD) at IGCAR and faculty in Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI), Mumbai, IGCAR Campus, Kalpakakam, India. He has more than 200 publications in international journals and symposia proceedings to his credit. He has supervised 8 Ph.D students and 5 students are pursuing Ph.D under Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai. He supervised 2 M.Tech students under HBNI and several M.Sc project students to his credit.
