About
The research focus is to develop sustainable technology for the production of phytochemicals or bioactives using plant cell and organ cultures. Presently, engaged in developing alternative "in vitro" production technologies (as phytofactories) for commercially important metabolites using indigenized low-cost bioreactors from Western Himalaya RET medicinal and aromatic plants. Further, the value addition of underutilized bioresources is also one of the key R&D activities.
