About
Dr. Mansi Punjabi Bathla is a plant biotechnology professional, and for the last 8 odd years, her focus was on developing biofortified crops to address the global concern of hidden hunger. However, she began her research journey by working on an entirely different subject, developing a low-cost, pocket-sized water purification device (Patent) to address the basic need of potable water for mainly rural households, soldiers, and travelers. Henceforth, she developed a passion for working towards alleviating global issues, particularly nutrition & food security.
