About
Dr. R K Garg is Professor in Industrial and Production Engineering Department at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, India. His areas of interest are non-traditional machining, supply chain management, industrial management and systems dynamics. He holds a B.Sc. Engg. (Hons.) Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Regional Engineering College Kurukshetra, and M.E. degree (Hons.) in Industrial Engineering and a Ph.D. from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology Patiala (India). He has over 25 years of industry and teaching experience. He has been designated as Head of Department, Dean, Training and Placement Officer, and Proctor cum Chief Warden from time-to-time during the last 19 years during his service at NIT Jalandhar. He has guided 35 M Tech and 02 PhD candidates for pursuing their PhD degree while 06 PhD are in process. He has over 127 publications in international and national journals and proceedings of international conferences to his credit. At present, he is Professor, Department of Industrial and Production Engineering at Dr. B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology Jalandhar.
