About
Dr. Bhaskar Devu Mukri received his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, India, in 2013. His first postdoctoral research was conducted under Prof. Ch. Subrahmanyam at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, focusing on water purification using alkali-treated carbonized rice husk. For his second postdoctoral position, he was a CAS-PIFI postdoctoral researcher with Prof. Shen Wenjie at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Dalian, China, where he worked on heterogeneous catalysis using gold nanoclusters dispersed metal oxide nanorods as catalysts. In 2023, he joined Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Prayagraj as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry. Currently, his research group is engaged in heterogeneous catalysis, exploring areas such as catalytic organic synthesis, plastic waste valorization, and catalytic CO2 conversion.
