About

I am a passionate Medical Imaging Professional with broad experience in CT Scan and MRI Imaging. My professional background focuses on diagnostic imaging protocol optimizations to advance the accuracy of diagnoses, as well as the overall quality of care for patients. I strongly believe in the advancement of medical imaging through research, clinical practice, and the development of new methodologies.

My research interests include MRI safety, with a special emphasis on the development and implementation of best practices and safety protocols that reduce risks for both patients and healthcare workers. In addition, I have also conducted research in the area of HRCT imaging in COVID-19 patients.

The key focus of my current interest is Indication-Based Imaging, where the choice of imaging modality is made based on specific clinical indications to assure the most accurate and efficient diagnosis possible. I am also involved in research activities relating to MR Enterography, a non-invasive imaging modality for the assessment of small bowel diseases. My work in refining the imaging protocols for MR Enterography and exploring the possibilities for its use in diagnosing complex gastrointestinal conditions is an ongoing process.

Beyond what I am doing currently, complicated imaging techniques that will even more involve advanced imaging technologies in neuroimaging studies. This is where I look forward to exploring the application of various techniques like functional MRI, diffusion tensor imaging, Perfusion studies among other advanced MRI techniques that may enhance diagnosis and management.

I am committed to continuing both my clinical practice and academic research, working towards the advancement of medical imaging by developing innovative, non-invasive imaging techniques that will enhance diagnosis and ultimately improve patient outcomes.
