About
I am currently working on the effects of river mining on hydraulic structures. I do gravity flow flume experiments on a sand bed channel. I use ADV velocity data for turbulence analysis and ultrasonic bed elevation data for morphodynamic studies.
My research focus is on recent river engineering issues such as consequences of sand mining on river morphodynamics, sediment transport, bank erosion, human impact on river hydromorphology, sedimentation in run-of-river projects etc.
