About
Rames C Panda obtained his BTech in Chem tech from Jadavpur Univ, Kolkata in 1987; MTech in Chemical Engg from IIT Madras in 1989 and PhD in chemical Engg from IIT Madras, 1994. His field of research is Modeling, optimization and control. Dr. Panda is an outstanding chemical engineer and has contributed significantly in process modeling, identification and control. Modernization of Chemical industry, PID-tuning, odor-control & process intensifications of chrome chemical sectors with the advent of material handling and chemical engineering inputs have led the CSIR-CLRI to a greater height. His teaching & independent research publications in high impact journals are praiseworthy and richly deserve academic recognition. His experiences and concepts in process monitoring, optimization & control in continuous process industries especially in refinery & petrochemicals will be beneficial in any process industries. He served as author, reviewer (editorialmanager.com) to many journals, and also as editor.
