About
Dr. Lalith Prakash is a civil engineering researcher whose work spans remote sensing, earthquake risk assessment, and disaster management, with a strong focus on integrating hazard, vulnerability, and exposure modelling for robust evaluations of flood- and earthquake-induced risks. His research also advances sustainable and high-performance construction materials, including light-transmitting composites, waste foundry sand–based blends, and graphene oxide–modified concrete aimed at improving material efficiency and reducing environmental impacts. In parallel, his academic interests encompass construction project management, particularly the enhancement of safety, quality, sustainability, and resilience across the built environment.
