About
I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (a Central University), Bilaspur, India. I completed my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Civil Engineering Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. My research interests include:
• Physical and Numerical Modelling of Geotechnical Problems
• Application of Geosynthetics and Ground Improvement
• Electrokinetics for Mining, Geotechnical, and Geoenvironmental Issues
• Energy Geotechnics
Apart from academics my interests are hiking, trekking and mountain cycling. I have completed one of the toughest cycling expeditions of world I.e., Manali-Leh-Khardungla route (approx. 560 km and gained maximum elevation of 18,379 ft.).
