About

Dr. Swarnali Das Paul, M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics), Ph.D., is the Director of Shri Shankaracharya College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SSCPS), Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, and Dean, Life Sciences at Shri Shankaracharya Professional University (SSPU). She also serves as Convenor of the IQAC & IPR Cell, Head of the Internal Compliance Committee, and member of the Academic Council at SSPU, in addition to her roles as Inspector for the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU).
With over 17 years of academic and research experience, Dr. Paul has authored 49 research publications, 12 patents, 7 books, and 6 book chapters, and has supervised more than 25 M.Pharm and Ph.D. scholars. She has secured 3 research grants and 4 conference grants, and has been honored with six awards, including Young Achiever (Dubai, 2019), Pharma Woman of Chhattisgarh (2021), and Excellence in Research (2023, 2024).
Her major research contributions include establishing the ADR Monitoring Center at SSCPS under the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India, and leading the “Iron Bindi” Project under the PRAYAS Scheme of IBITF, IIT Bhilai—a novel transdermal iron supplementation system. She has also successfully led projects funded by DST–IEDC and CGCOST, with a strong focus on nanotechnology-based drug delivery systems for inflammatory diseases, cancer therapy, ocular, and transdermal applications.
Dr. Paul is an active collaborator across pharmacy, biotechnology, and biomedical engineering, and has chaired or delivered sessions in over 50 national and international conferences, demonstrating her commitment to advancing pharmaceutical education, research, and public health.
