About

I am a Newton Fellow in the University of Cambridge (Division of Neurosurgery, Department of Clinical Neurosciences, Addenbrooke's Hospital) working on "Microglial Dynamics and its Modulation in Traumatic Brain Injury".
Before this, I have worked as a Faculty - Clinical Research at the Institute of Clinical Research India (ICRI) for a while. In the National Brain Research Centre (NBRC, India), I have worked on "Brain Stroke" as a Research Associate for three years (from 2014 - 2017). After my PhD, I have joined the Department of Microbiology, University of Calcutta as a Postdoc Fellow in two different projects: (i) Free radical therapy in cancer and (ii) Platelet activation mechanisms.
Basically, I am a Marine turned Neuroscientist, did my master’s and doctoral studies in Marine Science.
